Your questions.
Clearly answered.
A practical guide to accreditation, submission requirements, fees and what approval means.

What is ACQP CPD accreditation?
ACQP reviews a defined learning activity for educational value, relevance and quality within construction and the built environment. Approval relates to the CPD content and scope reviewed. It is not a qualification, a licence to practise or certification of a construction product.
Who can submit a CPD activity?
Training providers, individual trainers, consultants, manufacturers and employers can enquire. Your content should support professional learning in construction, building safety, quality, inspection or related practice.
Can a manufacturer’s presentation be accredited?
Yes, where it has clear learning outcomes and genuine technical or educational value. Relevant product examples can support learning, but the main purpose should not be a sales presentation. Explain the evidence behind technical claims and distinguish guidance from product promotion.
What do I need to send for review?
Prepare your title, target audience, learning outcomes, agenda, duration, presentation or learning materials, presenter experience and your method of recording participation. For online or recorded learning, explain how learners engage with the material and demonstrate completion.
Is provider registration the same as CPD approval?
No. Registration relates to the provider; activity accreditation relates to the particular course, webinar or learning activity reviewed. Provider registration does not automatically approve every course. Contact the team to confirm the registration and activity fees that apply to you.
How long does the review take?
The team will confirm the review timescale after checking your submission and the availability of all supporting materials. Allow time for questions or revisions before advertising an activity as accredited.
What happens after my CPD is approved?
ACQP will confirm the approved scope and advise you about the relevant accreditation wording, badge, certificate and listing arrangements. Use accreditation only for the approved activity and in line with the conditions supplied.
Can I change an accredited presentation?
Contact ACQP before making significant changes to technical content, learning outcomes, duration or delivery. The team will advise whether the changes need further review and confirm any applicable fees or approval conditions.
Does CPD accreditation prove someone is competent?
CPD supports professional development. Completing a learning activity alone does not establish occupational competence. Competence depends on the relevant knowledge, skills, experience and behaviours, together with any assessment required for the person’s role.
How do I check an accreditation claim?
Email cpd@acqp.co.uk with the provider name, activity title and any accreditation reference supplied. The team can confirm the status and scope. Published learning resources can be found in the Construction CPD Library, with accreditation status shown where confirmed.
Are the fees recurring?
Individual/provider registration is £75 one-off, and company registration is £99 one-off. Each CPD activity is £49 per year. The application form shows your registration fee plus the first annual CPD fees; a payment link is emailed later. Accreditation remains subject to assessment.
How do I submit an accreditation application?
Choose “Accredit your CPD”, complete the application form, select your registration and enter your CPD titles and quantity. Submitting saves your application and creates a pending registration, or links to your active registration. Our team reviews your details and emails a payment link later. For general questions, the separate Contact us page prepares an enquiry email for you to send.
