The association behind the service

A professional home for construction quality.

The Association of Construction Quality Professionals (ACQP) is a UK professional association dedicated to construction quality. Established in 2019, it brings together thousands of members who share a commitment to improving standards across the built environment.

Our community includes quality managers, site inspectors, Clerks of Works, construction managers, consultants and technical specialists. We understand the responsibilities carried by the people who plan, deliver and inspect construction work.

Through our own Training Centre in Colchester, we support practical learning, professional qualifications and continuing development. Experienced construction professionals bring their knowledge of real projects into the classroom and online learning environment.

Why we created this service

Fair fees.
Serious standards.

For years, construction teams have needed a more accessible route to CPD accreditation through a professional association that understands their work and delivers training itself. ACQP CPD Accreditation was created to meet that need.

We believe providers should be able to see what they are paying for, who is reviewing their learning and which standards they must meet. Accreditation should offer a meaningful assessment of educational quality at a reasonable cost.

Our service puts construction professionals at the centre of the review. Every CPD must demonstrate clear learning outcomes, accurate content, suitable resources and a credible way to check understanding.

Accessible pricing does not lower the standard. Our professional assessors review the evidence, request clarification where needed and only approve activities that meet the required criteria.

The detail matters.

Our review considers the evidence behind the learning: its accuracy, structure, supporting resources and relevance to construction practice.

Evidence behind every approval

What our assessors need to see.

Each CPD must meet our assessment criteria. Prepare the complete learning package so our assessors can review its quality, accuracy and educational value.

Support beyond the assessment

Help your CPD reach its audience.

Professional recognition should be useful to providers and clear to the people choosing their next learning activity.

01

Construction CPD Library

Submit your activity for review and publication in our online library. Published listings help learners discover your subject, understand the learning outcomes and follow a link to your own website or course.

02

Accreditation you can communicate

After approval, ACQP will confirm the accreditation wording, badge and conditions of use for the approved activity. Use these on relevant course materials and literature within the agreed licence and scope.

03

A dedicated provider portal

Available with enabled access

Registered providers can sign in to their own portal to view CPDs, track applications and access approved badges. Each current CPD includes a download, a hosted badge URL and website embed code carrying its unique CPD ID.

04

Payment by emailed link

After application review

Apply online and see the total for your selected registration and CPDs. After checking your application, the ACQP team will email your payment link. Payment links added by ACQP are also available in the provider portal. Badge downloads become available in the portal after the relevant CPD is approved and its accreditation dates are confirmed.
