THE COMPLETE MASONRY WALL

Check the materials.
Follow the details.
Inspect before covering.

For bricklayers, masonry supervisors, site managers, Clerks of Works, quality inspectors and construction professionals who want a stronger understanding of brickwork and blockwork quality.

PREPARE

Start with the right basis.

Current requirements, approved samples, unit identity, delivery condition, storage, setting out, bond and coordinated opening dimensions.

CONSTRUCT

Make the details work.

Mortar and joint fill, cavities, insulation, ties and restraints, DPCs, trays, lintels, movement joints and dissimilar materials.

VERIFY

Keep the evidence clear.

Weather protection, safe sequencing, hidden-stage checks, defect investigation, appropriate repairs, later changes and handover.

A neat face does not prove the condition of the hidden construction.

Develop practical awareness and structured quality decisions using actual project requirements, product information and the appropriate competent review.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN

Useful questions.

How detailed are the modules?

Every module has more than 1,000 words of core teaching, eight reading sections, a different photo, two diagrams, practical reflection and two checks. The final module works through four locations with accepted records, an uncertain tray end, incomplete joints and a later alteration.

Does it cover brickwork and blockwork?

Yes. It explains material differences, storage and conditioning, setting out, mortar and bedding, cavities, connections, moisture protection, openings, movement, defects and inspection. Product-specific and proprietary systems must follow their own applicable information.

Does it provide universal tolerances or bearing sizes?

No. Acceptance criteria, mortar, connections, lintel support and movement details come from the actual project and selected products. The course explains what to identify, compare, record and refer for a competent decision.

What workplace resources are included?

Six printable records cover the wall requirements, material acceptance, setting out and workmanship, concealed interfaces, defects and changes, and handover. A worked four-location case study is also included.

Can I learn on my phone?

Yes. Pages adapt to smaller screens, section links help navigation, and lesson images can be opened at full size. Completed modules are saved to your learner account.

What if I do not pass first time?

Review the modules and try again. Retakes are included, subject to reasonable attempt limits. There is no assessment countdown.
