The ACQP Training Centre
How it works with the ACQP
Pay the full course fee to the ACQP before starting. Keep your invoice and payment receipt. An anticipated grant does not reduce the amount payable when you book.
Complete the required assessment and achieve your qualification. Keep the awarding body’s certificate or achievement notification as evidence.
The eligible employer submits the grant claim after achievement. CITB assesses the application and decides whether a payment is due.
The applicant is normally the CITB-registered employer responsible for arranging and funding the training. Learners should agree the claim arrangements with their employer.
| Eligible achievement | Grant |
|---|---|
| Most listed full qualifications, including eligible NVQs at Levels 2–6 | £600 |
| Listed Awards | £240 |
| Specified rainscreen cladding qualifications | £1,000 |
Rates depend on the qualification and achievement date. Check the current CITB rates ↗ and eligible qualification list ↗.
After successful achievement
Use CITB Online Services within 52 weeks of the achievement date. Have the achievement evidence ready and check CITB’s claim instructions. Any approved payment goes to the employer’s nominated bank account.
Claim deadline and evidence requirements ↗ · Payment rules ↗
Apply through CITBSign in or create a CITB Online Services account, then request Grant access for your employer using its seven-digit CITB registration number. Levy access alone does not give you Grant access.
CITB account and application guidance ↗Guidance checked against CITB’s published rules on 13 September 2026. Review the linked CITB pages before booking and again before claiming, as funding rules can change.
