Who is responsible?

What we collect and why

We collect your name, email, optional company, account status, securely hashed password, course progress, assessment attempts and results, payment references and certificate record. We use these to provide your purchased course, support your account, issue and verify certificates, and manage payment or access problems. We rely on contract for course delivery, legal obligations where applicable to financial records, and legitimate interests for proportionate security, fraud prevention and verification of our training records.

We do not request health information, date of birth or card details in the course platform. Please avoid putting medical details into general support messages; ask us about an appropriate route for discussing an adjustment.

Payments and service providers

Card details are entered on Stripe's hosted checkout, not stored by this course. Stripe processes payment information under its applicable privacy terms. Our hosting and email providers process information needed to run the service. Any international processing by a provider must use appropriate safeguards under applicable data-protection law. Certificate verification

Anyone holding a certificate number or QR verification link can see the certificate name, course, issuer, issue date, course version and status. The verifier does not display your email, company, password, payment information or assessment answers. Share the certificate only with people you intend to receive these details. Certificate codes contain random components and the register does not offer browsing by name.

Retention and security

We review account, learning, certificate and financial records for retention, generally for up to six years after the relevant transaction or last activity where justified, and longer only where a specific legal obligation or dispute requires it. Contact us about deletion or restrictions. Certificate withdrawal or anonymisation may affect future verification. Security logs are kept proportionately; expired password-reset and verification tokens are removed by scheduled maintenance. Sent email queue copies are removed after 30 days by that maintenance.

Course data is kept outside the public website directory. Access to administration is restricted. No system can guarantee absolute security, so keep your password private and contact us if you suspect misuse.

Your rights

Subject to the applicable conditions, you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact the Training Centre first. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

The course uses an essential session cookie named ACQPFD to keep you signed in and protect forms. It expires when your browser session ends. This package does not add advertising or analytics cookies. Stripe may use cookies on its separate checkout. Any additional services added by the website owner need their own disclosure.
